Whole 30, Day 12…

Another firehouse day, and it f*cking sucked.  The ambulance was dead except for when anything important had to be done (like eat or sleep).  Of course, no call was legitimate, but that’s another rant.  So, now it’s the next morning, and I’m tired.  And not in a good mood.

Whole 30, Day 11…

Yesterday was not so great.  Still no slips, but I was in a terrible mood most of the afternoon and evening.  I’m guessing I was severely carb deprived, as I felt 100% better the second I devoured my second sweet potato of the day.  Maybe I need to make sure I’m getting more carbs, especially on training days, and even if it’s fruit.

Second whole 30 day at the firehouse.  Didn’t go badly, but here towards the end of week 1 we’re starting to run out of veggies.  We’ll either have to make a bigger salad next week, or find some other delicious veggie recipes.

Day 5 and 6 kind of sucked with the cravings for sweets, especially for Leah.  But otherwise it’s going pretty well.  On a side note, this whole week has been a testing week for The Outlaw Way, and I’m really pleased with how I did considering it’s the 1st week on Whole30.

Craved everything today.  Starbucks, BWW’s, Ben & Jerry’s, Krispy Kreme…  Held out though.  Still haven’t noticed any real changes in how I feel.  Looking back, it seems I was a little light on food, veggies in particular.  Try to get back on that tomorrow, but I’ve got to find some good veggie recipes.
